First I love your site as it captures what I believe to be a want and need for real discipline from you. Also wanting to truly be taken in hand and out of control whenever your man decides it’s needed. I AGREE! Along with comforting,hugs and forgiveness.
I’ve only recently really spanked my wife. We’ve fooled around with various aspects of it up until 11/2009.
Now when she needs a spanking it’s no nonsense,bare bottom until she’s red. No more patticake spankings for her.

It varies but the last one was 25 with his hand OTK followed by 25 with a regular belt. For that I was lying over a tall wooden stool that’s padded on top. That’s great both because the height is right and I can grip the legs to hold the correct position.

The worst one I ever got was still only about half as long as the others here! I must be a wimp. I can’t take paddles, either.

We recently discovered the joys of a wide leather guitar strap. Hmm, hmmm good. For a maintenance spanking the other night, we did several minutes of hand spanking, 60 swats with the guitar strap, and some swats (10-20?) with the leather belt. I was in 7th heaven and more than ready to thank him appropriately. I told him later, I could have gone for 100 of the guitar strap.

I have had in the neighborhood of 90 and was OK. Other times, I was really sore after 20. It really depends upon the tone, the mood, the spanker, the implements, and the force.

Our experience is that the punishment spanking takes place only after I really feel remorse for what I’ve done. In other words, the talking, hugging, confession, etc. bring me to a mindset of repentance. The spanking doesn’t have to be very long or hard to “seal the deal”. It’s always otk, usually his hand only (sometimes the strap) and any where from 1 spank to quite a few added on to a warm-up. I hate to disappoint him more than I hate the spanking, but I need the spanking to feel forgiven and free of guilt. This may not be typical but it works for us. Meow

It depends entirely on circumstances obviously. But I suppose an average punishment for real misbehaviour might be an over the knee bare hand spanking of say 120-160 swats. These would be divided into 40′s and each group would involve explanations, corner time etc.

There is no doubt that it is the emotional interaction that has the greater effect. But that in turn is heightened by the physical interaction.
